- Last song listened: Not a song, but I just listened to the recent Radiolab podcast about color, and the end just flat-out blew my mind. For a song, iTunes is telling me it’s “East of the Mountains” by Kris Delmhorst.

- Summer or winter? Ohgod, summer, always summer. Heat, warmth, sun, brightness, living things outside, yes yes yes. Winter is okay in small doses, but in Chicago, there is no such thing as a small dose of winter.

- Celebrity crushes: Mr. Hiddleston, full stop. Though I have many deep and passionate fondnesses for many, many other people. I usually wind up writing books about them.
